India Youth opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again grabbed the spotlight with a stupendous century. Suryavanshi continued his spectacular form with 6 centuries across all three formats in 2025 and ticked all the boxes this season.
With the U-19 World Cup just a month away, India have their top contenders ready with Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre, both of whom have been unstoppable even in the senior division of the game.
Suryavanshi has been one of the most dynamic teams in recent times and has built a strong reputation for itself. It didn’t take long before Suryavanshi blasted the UAE team in the Rising Stars Asia Cup tournament with a stunning hundred to dominate them again in the U-19 Asia Cup.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s love affair with centuries continues
Playing the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai, the 14-year-old Indian prodigy once again put on a dominant show as he blasted a 54-ball century in the opening match of the tournament against the UAE.
During the innings, he was given a lifeline after being dropped on the score of 86 and the youngster, with his carefree attitude, quickly erased that mistake and raced through the nervy 90s to reach his 6th triple-digit score of the season.
With very subdued celebrations after reaching the hundred, Suryavanshi continued his assault as he mustered the next 71 runs off just 39 balls and ended the innings 29 short of his maiden double hundred when he missed a paddle sweep.
During the stand, Suryavanshi contributed a mammoth partnership of 212, surpassing the old record set by Anuj Rawat and Devdutt Padikkal, alongside his opening partner, Aaron George.

6. 113 against Australia Under-19
When the Indian Under-19 team visited Australia earlier this year, youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was the youngest of the lot, managed to give India a promising start with a century, his second in youth Tests.
He played a promising innings of 113 runs against Australia A; It was also his second Youth Test hundred for India, and he came up against the same opposition.
5. 143 against England Under-19s
Suryavanshi stole the show in the Youth ODIs against England after his dominant performance in the IPL. He scored a superb hundred against England in the official series between the Indian U-19 and England U-19 teams.
In just 11 matches, Suryavanshi has a promising record of 556 runs in youth ODIs and recently extended his record in the Under-19 Asia Cup.
4. 101 against Gujarat Titans
The young and dynamic 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been on a rampage in the IPL in front of world-class talent. However, he proved to be a special player as he accumulated a century in those difficult playing conditions.
Against one of the most established bowling units in the IPL in the Gujarat Titans, which included the likes of Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan. He also became the youngest player with an IPL century.
3. 108 against Maharashtra
In the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he scored his maiden SMAT century while playing for Bihar against Maharashtra. The 108 innings were played off just 61 balls, which made him the youngest centurion in the history of the tournament.
This also marked his third T20 century in the calendar year after the Rising Stars Asia Cup hundred last month, when he represented the Jitesh Sharma-led side.
2. 144 against United Arab Emirates
The Rising Stars Men’s Asia Cup featured cricketers who were almost a decade older than the Bihar cricketer, yet he remained one of their best performers and the main man of the show. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a hundred off just 32 balls and then continued his innings further, finishing with 144 off 42 deliveries.
He became the fastest T20 hundred by an Indian batter, and he himself finished the tournament with 239 runs in 4 innings and an average of 59.75.
1.171 against United Arab Emirates
The last of the departed, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, continued his love affair with centuries as well as the UAW. As India kicked off the Under-19 Men’s Asia Cup against the UAE, he topped the scoreboard with 171 points to his name.
With a strike rate of 180, he bowled 95 balls to score these runs. In the innings, he hit 14 sixes and 9 fours, taking his boundary tally to an insane 23. However, he missed out on a chance to be the second double centurion in List A U-19 cricket.
