Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has consolidated her position at the top of the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings, extending her lead to 83 points after consecutive half-centuries in the ongoing ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, including a recent score of 88 against England in Indore.England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is in second position, having accumulated 191 points in the tournament so far. Mandhana’s recent form has earned her the ICC Player of the Month award for September 2025, after impressive performances in the ODI series against Australia.Australia captain Alyssa Healy climbed to share third position after scoring two consecutive centuries in the World Cup. South African Tazmin Brits also moved up the rankings, moving up one place to ninth.Several players made significant progress outside the top 10. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur moved up three places to 15th, while Australian opener Phoebe Litchfield moved up five places to 17th. England’s Heather Knight made a substantial jump of 15 places to reach 18th position.In the bowling rankings, English spinner Sophie Ecclestone maintains her dominant position at the top. India’s Deepti Sharma improved her position, climbing three places to third after taking 13 wickets in five World Cup matches.Australian spinner Alana King moved up two positions to seventh in the rankings. Pakistan’s bowlers also showed improvements, with Nashra Sundhu climbing three places to 11th, Sadia Iqbal moving up five places to share 14th position and Fatima Sana moving up five places to 24th.
