Wilyer Abreu has the big chele

Wilyer Abreu struck two circuits and the Boston Red Sox scored seven points during the first round en route to a 13-6 victory against Cincinnati Reds visiting Monday evening.
Abreu struck a home run inside the park in the fifth and a large slam in the eighth. Trevor Story and Jarren Duran also dominated Boston in victory.
Cincinnati’s starting launcher, Chase Burns, choice No. 2 of the MLB draft last year, made its second start of the major league, but was removed from the mound with one in the first round. Burns (0-1) granted seven points (five deserved) on five strokes and two steps.
The three -point circuit of Story highlighted the first round of seven rounds of Boston, which included a single RBI of Abraham Toro, a double RBI of Carlos Narvaez, a single RBI by David Hamilton and a single of Roman Anthony.
Each of the nine strikers in the Boston start range had at least one blow, totaling 14.
Garrett Crochet (8-4) granted five points (four deserved) on seven strokes in six rounds, but won the victory. He withdrew nine years and walked one.
Austin Hays struck a solo home run and a triple of two points for cincinnati.
The Reds scored three points in fourth to reduce their deficit to 7-3. The triple of Hays scored Matt Mclain and Elly de la Cruz before scoring the field of Spencer Steer.
Cincinnati succeeded 7-4 on the single RBI of Mclain in the fifth, but the Home Run inside the Parc d’Abreu increased Boston’s advance to 8-4 at the end of the fifth. His long journey to the central field made a high bounce on the wall, allowing Abreu to go home.
Cincinnati was again in the three in the sixth after Hays Homer de Hays in the center, but Boston extended his advance at 9-5 on Home Run de Duran in his half of the sixth.
The great home of Abreu extended Boston’s advantage at 13-5 before Christian Encarnacion-Strand crowned the scoring when he returned to the third house on Mclain’s single in the ninth.
Boston’s recruit, Marcelo Mayer, who missed the three-game series of last weekend against Toronto while he was in mourning, was back with the team and started the third goal.
