Seth Meyers shared the update during his FYC event in Los Angeles, where he was joined by the actor and longtime friend Ike Barinholtz, who asked him to appoint his guest “Golden Goose”.

Meyers did not hesitate to answer.

“I spoke to this person, and I think it will happen soon. They expressed their desire to do so. We only have four of us who did it on NBC and I am lucky to have a Letterman and I was lucky to have Fallon. I would like Conan to come back,” said Meyers.

He also praised the recent honor of O’Brien, qualifying the event “an incredible evening” in reference to Conan receiving the Mark Twain Prize for American humor at Kennedy Center.
