Mats Zuccarello scored 2:09 into overtime as the Minnesota Wild beat the host Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Thursday night.

Brock Faber had a goal and an assist, Ryan Hartman also scored and Kirill Kaprizov had two assists for the Wild, who finished a seven-game road trip with a 4-1-2 record. Goalkeeper Jesper Wallstedt made 26 saves.

Adam Larsson and Matty Beniers scored and Vince Dunn assisted on both goals for the Kraken, who ended a four-game winning streak but extended their point streak to 10 (8-0-2). Goalie Philipp Grubauer stopped 31 of 34 shots.

The winner came at 2 to 1. Zuccarello received a crosscourt pass from Kaprizov and placed a one-timer into the upper left corner of the net before Grubauer could cross the crease.

The Kraken scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the third period to overcome a 2-0 deficit.

Seattle got on the scoreboard at 3:13. A Dunn shot flew off the crossbar before the puck ricocheted to Larsson for a slap shot from the top of the right faceoff circle that beat Wallstedt to the near post.

The Kraken got on the power play at 6:49 of the period, firing off four shots on goal during the power play but failing to score. They were saved when Yakov Trenin elbowed Catton in the head with one second left on the power play.

Seattle converted on its second chance, as Jared McCann’s slap shot from the top of the right faceoff circle was saved by Wallstedt, but Beniers collected the rebound at the top of the crease and sent the puck into the upper left corner of the net to tie the game 2-2 at 9:07.

The Kraken outscored Minnesota 11-10 in the first period, but it was the Wild who took a 2-0 lead.

Hartman opened the scoring in the fifth minute when he used towering Kraken defender Jamie Oleksiak as a screen and beat Grubauer low to the glove side.

The Wild doubled their advantage at 15:54 on a similar play. Matt Boldy handed the puck to Quinn Hughes, who headed toward the net before turning and returning the puck to Faber between the top of the faceoff circles. He used Dunn as a screen and fired a wrist shot into the upper left corner of the net.
