Why Anthony of HBO’s task seems so familiar

The FBI agent, Tom Brandi (Mark Ruffalo), should be grateful to have a Lord Commander of Kingsguard in his team in “Task”. Yes, fans of “House of the Dragon”, you are right. It is Ser Criston Cole, alias Fabien Frankel, in the team as an anthony Grasso to bring down these elusive house invaders led by a determined and downward dad, Robbie (Tom Pelphrey). For fans of the prequel series “Game of Thrones”, the task “could prove to be a difficult watch, since Criston Cole is one of the most hated characters on” House of the Dragon “.

Since its beginnings in the series in 2022, Criston Cole has been, let’s say, a complex soul, making choices that have led him to go to the top of the successful lists of the fans. Naturally, as is often the case with the most toxic territories of certain fandoms, playing one of the worst characters in the series bombed Frankel of hateful comments on social networks, of which he laughed. In an interview with Esquire, the star of “House of the Dragon” admitted: “I only see” I hate Criston Cole. This guy is a F **** r. I hope he dies. “It is the only S ** t that comes back to me.” The strong reaction, however, clearly shows that Frankel did an excellent job by playing Kingsguard in conflict, and has a lot of talent to bring to the “task”

Anthony de Frankel already shows signs of promise in the task

Sometimes everything a good thriller needs is a detective with something to prove, and it seems that this could be the case with Anthony de Frankel. Between Aleah Conscious Clean (Aino Mbedu) and the apparently volatile and distracted lizzie (Alison Oliver), Anthony seems a little more activated with work at hand and eager to communicate with her new boss. Fortunately, it also seems a little lighter than Ser Criston Cole, which is often paralyzed with guilt and duty.

Of course, all this after having spent only a question of minutes with the character of Frankel in “Task”, but it could always be a big change for the star of “House of the Dragon”. It could actually support him this time! Speaking to Esquire d’Anthony, Frankel showed his immense enthusiasm to enter the history of the agent, which led him to fall in love with the scene of the show. “I play a young detective with everyone’s PHilly slang, because I come from South Philly. I’m talking about Angelo broccoli.

We will have to continue to look to see how much he did his research and, more importantly, how the “task” was measured compared to the other HBO mini-series.

The first episode of “Task” is now available on HBO Max, with new episodes falling every Sunday at 9 p.m. HE.
