The India cricket team played 45 matches in 2025: 14 ODIs, 10 Tests, and 21 T20Is. Only a handful of batters featured in every format for the Men in Blue. Even fewer excelled.
Despite scoring heavily in the longest format of the game, Test cricket, only a handful of cricketers featured on the list of most runs in 2025. As many as 21 players managed to amass over 1,000 or more runs in the year, yet only two Indians were to be found.
