When will the iPhone 17 be published?
For almost a decade, Apple announced its new iPhone range in early September. (The only exception was during COVID, when the version was postponed until October 23, 2020, for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro and November 13, 2020, for the iPhone 12 Mini and 12 Pro Max.)
Historically, Apple made this announcement on the first Tuesday in September after the Labor Day. However, the first Tuesday in 2025 was the day after the Labor Day, so that Apple can push the dates of its iPhone event to Wednesday September 3 or Tuesday, September 9. This would mean a release date of September 12 or 19.
And because the new iPhone generally becomes available for pre -order on Friday after, the pre -order date could be September 5 or 12.

Will all new iPhones be published in the fall?
Based on last year’s release, Apple can go out in the fall, except its cheapest option – this year, the iPhone 16th. The iPhone 16th was released in February and Apple should largely follow the same format for the rumor iPhone 17.
This would mean that the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the iPhone 17 Pro, the iPhone 17 Air and the basic model of the iPhone 17 – if it’s the range – would be published in September. The iPhone 17th – If there is – will be released in February.
Future Apple iPhone output dates
Apple should modify its output format with the iPhone 18 of the rumor. The reports suggest that Apple will only publish high -end models in the fall of 2026 – iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, Air and a new foldable iPhone – and publish the rest of the line in winter 2027.
Why Divides the exit dates of the iPhone?
By pushing its high -end Pro and Pro Max models in September, Apple can capture a large part of the holiday shopping season. The release of the most basic models in winter allows a second crest of excitement, but pure and hard fans and vacation buyers will have already spent their money on the more expensive models in the fall.
