WhatsApp brings a new feature via its latest update for its Android users by publishing advanced Chat Privacy Functionality to limit message sharing.

The new feature will allow users to restrict the media – photos, videos, voice messages, documents, etc. – to be automatically saved on their devices, which means that if a recipient receives media in a conversation with someone who turned on this feature, these files will not be saved in their gallery of devices.

It is similar to existing missing messages, and now shows that the socialization application works to extend it, and just like the functionality of missing messages, it is also optional. Users can decide to activate it in specific cats according to their preferences from the application settings.

By allowing this parameter, users will also be able to better control their conversations that are shared, reducing the risk of unauthorized cat exports and providing a feeling of additional security, especially in conversations containing sensitive or private discussions.
