What did Madison do with Love Is Blind Engagement Ring after Joe’s split?

love is blind star of season 9 Madison Maidenberg revealed what she did with her engagement ring after Joe Ferrucci canceled their wedding in haste after buying a tuxedo.
During a Thursday, Oct. 16, appearance on the “Love to See It” podcast, Madison, 28, was asked if she was keeping the diamond ring.
“I did, yes,” Madison said. “No doubt about where the ring is going at this point.”
Madison and Joe, 29, got engaged sight unseen in the love is blind pods, but their relationship was tested when they returned to the real world. Joe ultimately broke up with the UX designer just days before their wedding, claiming Madison wasn’t The One.
In the last batch of episodes, Joe stumbled upon the cast’s tuxedo fitting before abruptly leaving – with Sabrina Charpentier‘s “Manchild” plays in the background. In the next scene, Madison tearfully tells her family that Joe just left while packing his suitcase.
“[There’s] a part that you don’t see in this conversation, where it’s like I have resolution to everything that I went through throughout our relationship,” Madison explained on the “Love to See It” podcast, referencing the now exes’ discussion about the end of their relationship. “It’s kind of the culmination of, ‘OK, this is actually who you’ve been this whole time, and I was just idealizing you.'”
The conversation eventually came to a point where Madison realized that Joe “didn’t choose” her as a partner.
“I want and deserve to be chosen, and in groups I felt so chosen,” Madison said. “I felt so wanted, and I hadn’t felt that literally since [the] reveal. It was kind of like, ‘Alright, it’s time for me to be real with myself and stop being such a lovestruck girl and really let the curtain fall.’
During their breakup conversation, Madison decided it was time to take off her diamond ring.
“I guess the moment I felt like it was really done was when I took my ring off,” she said. “I was like, ‘I guess I shouldn’t wear that anymore.’ This conversation won’t go anywhere else. I won’t get any answers to this and I need to begin my healing journey.'”
As for Joe, he reiterated Us every week that he and Madison just weren’t the right fit.
“It seemed like Madison was all in and wanted in a person. I, on the other hand, had some concerns, nervous, scared, anxious. I never saw that coming from Madison,” he said exclusively. We earlier this week. “I think it scared me too to see that, and I know she wanted to continue the experiment, to see it through, to get as much out of it as possible, wondering, ‘Is this my person?’ More time to figure that out. I think there was a certain breaking point for me where I couldn’t continue.
Joe finally reached that “breaking point” in the middle of the tuxedo shopping excursion.
“I definitely collapsed. At that point, [I’m thinking]“Why am I making these moves if I have in mind that ultimately I won’t be able to say yes on my wedding day?,” Joe recalls. “It felt a little flawed of me and I could have handled it better. That’s the story of my experience in television. It just seemed disingenuous to me to be there, if I didn’t think we had enough time to get there or if I knew it wasn’t my person.
love is blind is currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes come out every week.
