“We are reversing the famine crisis in Gaza”

The head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) told the BBC that the tide was turning towards famine in Gaza as more aid arrived in the territory following Donald Trump’s ceasefire deal.
Speaking from Gaza City, Tom Fletcher said “hundreds of trucks a day” were now entering the coastal enclave, but warned it was a “huge” job to get vital supplies to those who need them.
He also urged the international community to support efforts to provide one million meals a day and make the health sector operational.
