VTUBER threatens legal action against YouTube after the platform removed its channel, is restored later

VTUBER and Twitch Stream Fram expressed its intention to seek legal action against YouTube after the platform withdrew its channel and revoked its access. On July 12, 2025, the content creator took on X to share an email that she received from YouTube informing her about the deactivation of her account because of an alleged violation of the brand.

An extract from the email can be read as follows:

“Hi Fram, we would like to inform you that we have received a brand complaint concerning your YouTube account. After examination, the following content has been deleted from Youtube: Channel: Fram. In the future, you will not be able to access, own or create other YouTube channels.”

Commenting on the situation, the vtuber said:

“Bro … you can’t catch up with it … I’m the one who has this brand, @youtube!? You have good all my account **, my youtube bonus … How am I supposed to watch Markiplier now ..”

Hundreds of internet users responded to the Fram social media position, with X User @ Kusanagi2K5 asking her if she planned to take legal action if she had the brand.

In response, the streamer Twitch wrote:

“Oh, it’s happening”

YouTube finally replied, declaring that vtuber could respond directly to the e-mail of the platform if it “does not agree with the result”. Roger Quiles, a lawyer, replied by writing:

“We have submitted the notice of infringement of brands in the name of this Fram, the recorded brands holder, concerning another channel. Please examine immediately.”

“I am free” – VTUBER FRAM reacted after YouTube reinstated his channel after threatening legal action

Earlier in the day (July 14, 2025), Fram provided an update on the situation, revealing that his YouTube account had been restored. The VTUBER displayed a screenshot from another email from the platform belonging to Google, which confirmed that its channel did not violate community directives.

YouTube wrote:

“Hi Fram, we have examined your call for what follows: Channel: Fram. After taking another look, we can confirm that your channel does not violate our community guidelines. Thank you for your patience while we have examined this call. Our goal is to ensure that the content does not violate our community guidelines so that you are sorry so that you can be frustrated so that we have been frustrated for you.

Fram has responded to the reintegration of his channel by writing “I am free” in a post X.
