Vikings Wr Justin Jefferson (hamstrings) to miss a little practice

The receiver of the minnesota Vikings star, Justin Jefferson, will miss the time of the training camp when he deals with a strain of the left hamstrings, coach Kevin O’Connell told the journalist.
Jefferson did not practice Friday after leaving Thursday’s practice on a third of the path through the session, telling journalists that he felt “waterproofing” in both legs. He quoted his experience of the 2023 season when he missed seven games with a torn hamo-leg as a reason for prudent.
The professional professional quadruple and the offensive player of the year in 2022 were sent for an MRI examination after Thursday’s practice and were diagnosed with what O’Connell called a “very soft” tension in his left hamstrings, especially not the same place as the injury in 2023.
“The best thing is that we have avoided something serious. I don’t see any concern about opening,” O’Connell said on Friday. “I do not worry at all that we can prepare Justin for the regular season.”
O’Connell said Jefferson will be reassessed next week.
After directing the NFL in receptions (128) and received yards (1,809) in 2022, Jefferson reached the 1000 yards mark for the fourth consecutive season in 2023 despite the hamstring injury. He started 17 games last season, scoring 1,533 yards out of 103 catches to go with 10 TD receptions.
Written in the first round (22nd in total) in 2020, Jefferson has 495 catches for 7,432 yards and 40 affected in 77 career games (74 departures). His 96.5 yards per game average is the highest in NFL history.
The Vikings open the season against the host of Chicago Bears on Monday, September 8.
