Percy White Hynes, who played Xavier Thrope in the season a Wednesdayhas already been confirmed that he will not return to the series.

He left a painting of the bird saying that he did not know what it meant, but that he was sure that it had to do with Wednesday.
In the painting, a crow hangs from a shaded tombstone, holding a white flower, a bad omen revealed in episode one. Wednesday later, a vision showing the same crow on the tombstone of Enid, dropping the flower, predicting his death.
Showrunner and creator Alfred Gough confirmed TV that viewers have indeed seen the last of Xavier.
