Mexico in mourning has killed navy cadets

American Sánchez, 20, and Adal Jair Maldonado Marcos, 23, were among the 277 crew members aboard the Mexican navy sailboat when his three masts broke as they hit the bridge.

Twenty-two other crew members were injured, three of whom are critically, said the Mexican navy.
