Trump launches new attack on Jimmy Kimmel

Donald Trump reignited his long-running feud with Jimmy Kimmel a month later.

Trump, 79, made the latest remarks Saturday in the Oval Office before the Kennedy Center 2025 honorees ceremony.

The official gala, which Trump will host on Sunday, marks the first time a sitting president has served as host.

“We’ve never had a president host the awards show before,” the US president began before calling the late-night host “horrible”, according to Deadline.

“I’m sure they’ll give me great reviews, right? They’ll say it’s [Trump] It was horrible, he was terrible. It was a horrible situation. No, everything will be fine.

He then moved to late night television. “I looked at some of the people hosting. Jimmy Kimmel was horrible,” Trump added. “If I can’t beat Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don’t think I should be president.”

Kimmel previously appeared at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012 to greet David Letterman.

Kimmel’s history with Trump has become more controversial recently, intensifying after Jimmy Kimmel Live! was suspended for six days in September following comments made after the death of Charlie Kirk.

Trump also mocked Kimmel for being “fired for lack of talent”, and later attacked him on Truth Social calling him “a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS”, urging him: “Take these bums off the air!!!”
