Trump arrives in the United States open to cheers and hoots, encourages security delay – National

President Donald Trump was greeted by a mixture of cheers and hoots upon arrival at the United States final Open on Sunday, the majority of stadium seats and the start of delayed start due to improved security checks.
An ABC television show has shown that Trump was coming out of a box seat to signal the still busy crowd but did not include the audio of the crowd.
The United States Tennis Association had asked the broadcasters to delete any reaction to Trump, according to reports during the weekend.
A spokesperson for the USTA told Reuters that the association regularly asked the broadcasters “to refrain from presenting off-course disruptions”.
The start time of the match, originally scheduled for 2 p.m. HE (1800 GMT), was delayed by 30 minutes due to security checks announced to American open organizers, about half an hour before starting.
“Following the security measures in place and to ensure that fans have more time to go to their seats, we pushed the start time of today’s match at 2:30 pm,” the tournament organizers said in a press release.
