Trump Aid floated new strategies to get out of this Epstein disorder

The Trump administration’s refusal shed more light on the famous case of Jeffrey Epstein has, ironically, only made everyone pay much more attention. While the crisis continues to make snowball, government officials discreetly envisage at least three different ways to disclose more information on the dead pedophile and thus dissipate the accusations of concealment, reports Axios.

These strategies include the appointment of a special council which would be responsible for investigating the case and producing a full report on the issue. The officials also suggested to pet tribunals to descend any case of remaining Epstein cases (the crimes of the dead pedophile took place in several different states, leaving a trace of criminal affairs). Another approach includes Epstein files that are not published to share more information with the public. Many of these files have been strongly censored.

Unfortunately, it does not seem that Trump is super interested in one of these strategies. Axios spoke with several officials of Trump and external advisers in recent days, many of whom seemed to think that the government has been blocked by the president. “The president said to put this behind us, so we put it behind us,” said a high -level advisor. “If he changes, then politics changes.

“I love Potus, but I think it is delusional how horrible it looks,” said another adviser, who does not work in government, in The Outlet. Gizmodo contacted the Trump administration for more information.

During last week, Trump clearly indicated that he was no longer interested in talking about Epstein. During a press event last Tuesday, the exasperated president said: “Do you still talk about Jeffrey Epstein? … Do people always talk about this type, this flucture?” A Fox News clip also recently resurfaced showing that Trump saying that he may not be interested in publishing other Epstein documents because they could contain “bogus stuff”.

You can somehow see why Trump wants everything to disappear. The scandal threatened to destabilize the President’s Ministry of Justice, which would be at war with itself on the best way to manage controversy. A supposed quarrel between the deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino and the Attorney General Pam Bondi led to significant internal pressure and the appearance of an agency which does not know what it does or is in charge.

To make things more interesting, Ghislaine Maxwell, the ex-girlfriend of Epstein (who was found guilty of sexual traffic in children in 2021 and sentenced to twenty years in prison), said that she would be willing to testify before the Congress on the activities of the dead financial year. However, many voices on the right have expressed skepticism as to whether Maxwell would be a reliable source of information. Trump admitted that he had personally associated himself with Maxwell and Epstein. When Maxwell was sentenced to prison, Trump simply said: “I wish him good luck.”

Other strange details on the case continue to bubble on the surface. According to a blog post of Judd Legum, a lawyer who briefly represented Epstein before his death then was part of President Trump’s legal defense team during his accusation. This lawyer, David Schoen, said that he could say “with authority, unequivocal and certainly that [that Epstein] had no information to hurt President Trump. How could it be sure?

Meanwhile, even the slow democrats to do for all time have seized the issue of Epstein and began to politicize it to their advantage. A group of Democrats in the Chamber is currently trying to force Bondi to release all Epstein documents. Representative Ro Khanna (D-California) told Axios that he wanted to table an amendment to an upcoming cryptocurrency bill which would require “preserve, preserve and compile all files or evidence linked to any survey, prosecution or incarceration” of Epstein, before publishing it on a public website.
