Arsenal has struggled to unload players in recent years, so there will be a desire to improve in this regard during the 2026 transfer windows. And a player who could be in motion at the moment is Leandro Trossard.
Trossard has aroused a lot of interest during the summer, Besiktas being the most recent club to consider a decision. However, nothing has materialized, although this is not the case when the transfer window reopens for business.
Arsenal opened for the sale of Leandro Trossard in 2026
Addressing Football Insider, Mick Brown revealed that Arsenal would be willing to sell Leandro Trossard in 2026, as long as their price requested is filled.
“Trossard is an important part of the team of the first team. He enters and does a good job whenever he is called, and he probably goes under the radar in terms of what he brings to the team when he plays. I think you need people like that in the team.
“There will always be an interest in taking it even after this new contract, and from what I hear, they would be ready to let Trossard leave if they are correct. Whether it happens in January or next summer, they can sell it at a good price and then bring someone else to replace it.
“The depth will be so important for Arsenal, it can make the difference in their ambitions to win titles, and it will be a key priority for them. But that does not only mean calling on new players, they will seek to refresh their current options with new faces and it can make a big difference. This means that players like Trossard and a few others leave the club.”
It will be interesting to see what is going on with Trossard in 2026, but if its importance at Arsenal continues to walk, it would not be surprising to see it pass by something.
