Cyrus has always been open about her love of “Hannah Montana”
“Hannah Montana” debuted on Disney Channel in March 2006. Over five years, Cyrus starred in all 98 episodes of the series, appeared in a feature film and recorded five studio albums. Cyrus also performed her own concert, the “Best of Both Worlds Tour”, which included 71 stops and grossed $70 million at the box office.
In a previous interview with Ryan Seacrest, Cyrus gave a lot of credit to “Hannah Montana” for launching her career at such a young age. “Without Hannah, there really wouldn’t be this…me,” she said. “It’s so crazy to think that I started out as a character that I thought would be impossible to get rid of, and now it’s something that, when I walk into a space, is seen as that feeling of nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood. But now, I’m kind of integrated into everyone’s lives, like the character did.”
