Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White shared an update on Caitlin Clark injury Before Tuesday’s match against the Phoenix Mercury. Sports columnist Jason Whitlock was not satisfied with the WHIT WANCE of White concerning the superstar of fever, comparing it to former American president Joe Biden.
In an article on X, formerly known as Twitter, Whitlock left for the Fever franchise for not having provided a solid and concrete update on the return of Clark. There are three games in regular season after Tuesday, and fever could still lose a room in the playoffs.
Whitlock even went so far as to compare the situation to the concerns that the Americans had with Biden during the last part of his presidency. He does not like uncertainty surrounding Clark’s ability to return to court this season or even in the playoffs.
“They transformed Caitlin Clark into Joe Biden. No press conferences for 2 months. The concealment is always worse than the crime. His injury was the strangest thing I saw in sport,” Whitlock tweeted.
Addressing journalists before Tuesday’s match in Phoenix, coach Stephanie White was asked about the recovery of Caitlin Clark of a groin injury and the return before the start of the playoffs. Clark started to practice but is not allowed to be in contact.
White did not give a calendar for its return, mentioning long -term health as a priority.
“It’s hope,” said White. “She works as hard as possible to ensure that she returns or is able to come back. I think that the long-term point of view of her health and well-being is the most important thing.”
Caitlin Clark has not played since July 15, when she re-aged a groin injury. It only appeared in 13 games this season, fighting against four injuries linked to the muscles from the training camp.
ESPN predicts the return of Caitlin Clark from injury
While Indiana fever does not publish a calendar for the return of Caitlin Clark, ESPN has apparently abandoned a possible return date for the former goalkeeper of the Iowa. Their WNBA injury page was September 7 as an estimated return date.
The fever has a match that day against the mystics of Washington. It is an important match for Indiana, especially if they need a victory to keep their hopes in living room playoffs.
It is also prudent to assume that if Clark is cleared, it will be on a restriction a few minutes to alleviate it in the speed of the game. The fever is in a tight battle against the Golden State Valkyries, Seattle Storm and the Sparks for the last three places in the playoffs.
