The unpredictable predictions of the NFL 2025-2026 season

It is difficult to believe that it is again professional football time! The NFL is expected to start on Thursday, September 4 with an opening match of the League between the Eagles and the Cowboys, Dallas no longer making Micah Parsons exchanging it to Green Bay packers in one of the most surprising moments of the offseason.

As I do each year with abstract sports, I travel the whole NFL calendar during the week, the match per game and have a prediction on the winners. Last year, it did not work as well as with my final classification, I obtained five of the eight correct division winners, but only five of the 32 losses of 32 teams. In a word … Ouch.

So we left there with a season that is at our doorstep and a lot of excitement and anticipation with so many players who change their team, intriguing draft choice playing their first year in the NFL, and great hopes for certain teams that have endured a gap in the playoffs or the playoffs. Naturally, there is no way to predict the injuries that will occur or how much a player could and perhaps a player.

Anyway, take these predictions with a grain of salt. The final results will probably not reflect these predictions, but there again, I may be lucky in 2025. I have these teams who win their divisions.

Starting with AFC:

  • Buffalo
  • Baltimore
  • Houes
  • Kansas City (again)

In the NFC:

  • Philadelphia
  • Green Bay
  • Tampa
  • Rams of Los Angeles

The final records are below, but in AFC East, Justin Fields will not be the hero that green and white fans hope he will be. Bills are always kings here and Miami is just not good enough to keep the pace. AFC North will be interesting because I have the ravens, the Steelers and the Bengals which all finish 10-7, so one of these teams will probably not go to the playoffs according to the way the rest of the AFC is revealed.

No AFC South team has done enough to take over for the Texans, so I have this team again at the top. Finally, in the West, Pete Carroll will not yet be able to put the raids in the lead. The chiefs always govern that the broncos of Denver much improved should breathe the neck. The charges will not be far behind.

In the NFC, there are believers Jayden Daniels and his Washington commanders can run at Super Bowl. They will finish with a victories record, but the Eagles are still reigning champions and a large team. In the NFC North, many believe that the acquisition of Micah parsons by the packers puts them above. I do not believe in an One Man show, so just because let’s go one of the best players in the league can help win matches, but I don’t think that it is automatically from Green Bay the favorites in the NFC.

In the south, Tampa is still clearly the best team, but they will not be big winners. The last division is the West and which will belong to the Rams, although as you can see, I have them at the top with all people. The chances that the four teams only win eight games are clearly almost impossibility, but that’s how it was done for me. Sounding things have happened, but with the four teams at 8-9, I give the Rams the advantage.

Again, do not take these predictions too seriously the fans. I bet once again, they will not reflect the final classification, but again, who knows? The main thing is that it is fun to try and if they come out precise, I will shock myself.

Make sure you return to abstract sports when the season starts in less than a week, because I will provide my weekly predictions per week with final scores. Until then… Go Steelers!
