McDonald’s to close the concept of autonomous drink
By Waylon Cunningham
(Reuters) -Mcdonald’s Corp closes the five cosmc stores focused on drinks it opened in 2023, but said that certain drinks in the autonomous concept would be tested in McDonald restaurants.
The company said on Friday that it opened stores as a test to learn more about “fast growing drinks space”, that he said he had a “right to win”.
He said autonomous stores – on markets such as San Antonio, Texas – have enabled him to test new flavors and technologies without having an impact on existing McDonald’s restaurants.
The company said that it would test the drinks “inspired by Cosmc” to its main menu in hundreds of American stores. The company has more than 14,000 locations in the United States
In March, McDonald’s announced that it would establish a new internal team to develop new drinks.
The company said that all COSMC would be closed on a hilly base from the end of June. The COSMC application will also be interrupted.
Restoration consultant John Gordon said McDonald’s had historically been “very calm” in the drinking space compared to other restaurant chains, which have experienced complicated drinks that generally wear a higher profit margin than food.
