Sachin Tendulkar, the highest scorer in international cricket and widely considered one of the biggest cricket players, had previously applauded the effort behind the Sindoor operation.

The Indian badminton star and the double Olympic PV Sindhu medalist also spoke to support the Sindoor operation.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Monday evening.
