A recent case of Germany sparked a vast online discussion after an Indian woman explained how her internship ended almost as soon as he started, despite his efforts to move the cities for the opportunity.

Tekwani moved from Berlin to Munich on September 1. Her first day at the office went well, but on the second day she was slightly late due to an eye infection. Even if she informed her team, she was released the same evening.

Back in Berlin now, Tekwani urged others to be careful before moving for short -term roles. “Do not move immediately for a startup, especially if they do not pay you what you deserve, because if the salary is peanuts and you can see red flags from the start, do not do that. It is not worth it,” she advised.
