The Pop Dua Lipa icon receives sincere recognition from the fatherland

Dua Lipa, an emblematic music star who won millions of hearts with her songs and performances on stage, was recently honored in Kosovo during a deeply emotional ceremony that celebrated its roots.

The music icon said that she “felt that my two sides were now one” because she shared how significant was the moment for her and her family.

President Vjosa Osmani congratulated Dua as “one of the most emblematic cultural figures in the history of our country” and described it as “honor” to present recognition to it.

Images of the event showed dua smiling strongly while she was standing alongside President Osmani. Other photos captured her greeting fans, receiving gifts and sharing hugs with those who came to see her.

A children’s choir welcomed her by singing one of his beloved songs while the UK ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, watched the joyful scene.

In her statement, Dua talked about the heart, saying: “It completes the duality that I have always had inside. I love this country and it means so much for me and my family. ”

President Osmani then shared photographs on social networks, writing: “Dua and Kosovo have always been inseparable. From the biggest scenes in the world to the heart of millions, she brought our history with force, pride and thanks. Our gratitude is endless for everything Dua has done and continues to do for Kosovo. ”
