How a video proves that AI will never replace human creators

By Joshua Tyler | Published

If you are on YouTube at any time recently, you have probably met a video generated by AI. The platform was flooded with them, to the point that human creators report a drop in the audience because they are in a hurry.

There are similar fears on a larger scale with regard to Hollywood. There is more and more concern that we would no longer need humans to make films, and that all that who will need is an IA prompt.

There is nothing to fear. This simple video clip, taken from the whole new director James Gunn Superman Film, assures all the insurance you need.

Why does a guy run in circles with a camera mean that AI will not be a problem? This is not what he does, but why he does.

Hollywood has camera platforms operated by robot which could have moved the camera gently and without fatigue. This is why the video has surfaced. Zack Snyder, who made the previous superman films, would have used one of these mechanized platforms, say his fans. In their mind, this clip proves that James Gunn is a fool. But in fact, it proves that he is a genius.

The problem with Zack Snyder’s Superman films, and the reason why he is now unemployed, is that they felt cold and mechanical. Meanwhile, the version of James Gunn was congratulated for being warm and alive.

What makes a film cold, and what gives the impression that a film has the impression that it is a living and breathable element? A camera is a camera, and it is difficult to emphasize while you look at it which makes the difference. This is the difference. They are people.

This guy having a stunned adds a human element to the way the film appears on the screen by the organic nature of his movements. No matter how much he could try, he can never maintain a perfectly stable speed. It will probably slightly jostle the camera while it runs, and its presence has a subtle effect on the actor’s set. Unlike a robot platform, he cannot continue forever, which obliges James Gunn to account for another human factor while deciding the duration of the duration.

All of these human limitations end up on screen when watching the film. You don’t see it, but you feel it. You don’t notice it, but your brain does it. This is something that no amount of automation can create.

When we say that something is cold and lifeless, we say that it does not feel human. Humans are an egocentric species. Our interest in art begins and ends with its humanity.

People watch this bad Sold Ai on YouTube, for now. It’s new. They also watched the cold and lifeless films of Zack Snyder. But in the absence of an element of humanity, this kind of inhuman art is a gadget which ends up exhausting its welcome, and soon, only the Sold eaters will consume it.

Art is only interesting when you can imagine that it is you and your people. Creating this is something that no artificial intelligence can do.
