THE new York The office building which was the scene of a shooting on Monday evening which killed four dead victims, including an officer from the NYPD, serves as a seat for several companies in the financial services industry as well as the NFL.
Monday evening The shooting was at 345 Park avenue In Midtown Manhattan, which is the headquarters of the Alternative Blackstone investment company, the real estate company Rudin Management and the National Football League (NFL).
The building belongs to Rudin Management and also houses an office for the KPMG multinational accounting firm.
The skyscraper was built on the site of the former hotel ambassador, the construction completed in 1969. Blackstone is a longtime tenant and moved for the first time in the building in 1988, only three years after its foundation, and last year moved to extend its presence in the installation.

Blackstone signed an agreement last year which increased the imprint of its lease of office space from 719,000 square feet to 1.06 million square feet, giving the company 55% of the building on 28 floors, according to a report at the time per Costar News.
The company’s initial lease of 1988 lasted only two floors and 70,000 square feet, while the new lease takes place until 2034.
Rudin Management retraces its roots to a family real estate Adventure in the early 1900s, which over time has become a real estate development company that has built high height apartments and office buildings in New York. The building 345 Park Avenue was its first commercial office building, according to the company’s website.

Mayor Eric Adams appeared on Fox 5 Ny’s “Good Day New York” And said that the shooter, who was identified as Shane Tamura, accidentally entered the bad elevator banks.

NYPD commissioner Jessica Tisch said on Monday evening that Tamura “had documented mental health history” and traveled by car across the country in town. She explained that her motivations were still the subject of an investigation.
Blackstone identified one of the victims like Wesley Lepatner in a statement. LEPATNER has been global CORE + REAL ESTATE and CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT), according to the company’s website.
NYPD has identified Islam derum as a police officer killed. The NFL said that one of its employees had been “seriously injured” in the attack.
Rudin confirmed in a statement that one of the employees of the company had also been killed during the shooting.

The New York Times reported that the Blackstone offices in Manhattan will be closed on Tuesday following the shooting, according to a person familiar with the question that was not authorized to speak publicly.
KPMG declared in a memo to the employees who had been reported by Initiate of Business Whether his office will be closed on Tuesday after the shooting and that they should work at home or another office.
