The CLICKC control council in India (BCCI) will elect the officials, including the president, at the next annual general meeting (AGM) on September 28. According to a recent Cricbuzz report, senior officials from BCCI and BJP leaders in power will meet in Delhi on Saturday, September 20.
Roger Binny left his role as president of the Cricket Control Council in India in July after crossing the age ceiling established by the Constitution of the Council. Office deputies should not continue in their posts after reaching the age of 70.
Binny was elected 36th president of the BCCI in October 2022. He replaced the former captain of India Sourav Ganguly, whose three -year mandate was finished. Binny was the only candidate for the position and was undisputed.

The BCCI will elect the civil servants, including the president, but the candidates may not be finalized. According to Cricbuzz, the senior BCCI officials should meet the leaders of the BJP in power in Delhi on September 20, where the key decision concerning leadership should be taken.
“Cricbuzz can reveal that a meeting of the best bosses of the BCCI with members of the BJP in power was scheduled for Delhi on September 20, when the very important decision should be made,” said the report.
The senior BCCI officials are expected to meet the residence of Minister Amit Shah, where the key details and the final form of the next BCCI management range should be decided.
Speculation rises on the next head of the BCCI while the former cricket players are emerging as a contenders
There have been speculation on which will occupy the next position of the head of the BCCI, with several former cricket players in the mixture. Surav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Raghuram Bhatt and Kiran Plus are in the running, but the final choice remains uncertain.

Sulakshana Naik, previously a member of the CAC, is no longer part of the committee, and the BCCI can appoint a replacement. The CAC will select seven individuals in total.
Two members of the National Male Selection Committee, led by Ajit Agarkar, a member of the National Junior Committee, and four for the National Women’s Committee will be appointed. The newly named selectors are ready to assume their roles after AGA BCCI.
Applicants must have played at least seven test games, or 30 first class games, 10 ODI, along 20 first class games. Applicants should have retired from the professional cricket for at least five years and must not have sat on the BCCI cricket committee for more than five years.
