On Tuesday, the PNAT confirmed that he had opened a judicial investigation “against an 18 -year -old young man, claiming to be a member of the Incel movement”, adding that he was investigated to “associate terrorist criminals to prepare one or more crimes against people”.

A source close to the investigation confirmed that the French media reports that the suspect had been arrested near a school in the Saint-Etienne region in the center of France and that the man, who wore two knives, was suspected of having planned to attack women.
