A man was arrested as part of a fire at the family home of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in northern London.
Metropolitan police said that a 21 -year -old man had been arrested on Tuesday at first hours of criminal fire suspected with the intention of endangering life.
In a statement, the MET said that the arrest was linked to the fire of the four -bedroom house in the city of Kentish in the early hours of Monday, as well as a car that has caught fire in the same street in recent days and a fire in an office building which has a link with Starmer in the Postal Code N7.
The fire of the Starmer Family Home, which the Prime Minister rented to tenants after having moved to 10 Downing Street in July of last year, caused damage to the entrance to the property.
In the press release, the metropolitan police said: “As a precaution and due to the property having previous links with a high-level public figure, the officers of the MET counter-terrorism command lead the investigation into this fire. Surveys are underway to establish what has caused it. ”
