Roughriders seek to avenge the defeat alone against the Stampeders

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will seek to avenge their only loss of the season during their visit to the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday evening.
The Roughriders (8-1) won four games in a row since the Stampeders (6-3) recorded a 24-10 victory on July 12 in Regina, in Saskatchewan.
“We know that we are better than that,” said Roughriders, CJ Reavis, to Regina chief. “I feel like we have a good chance of coming there and recovering our lick.
“It’s always good to get hit in your mouth. … I think it was a good reality check for us and at the ideal moment.”
Vernon Adams Jr. de Calgary completed 28 of the 36 passes for 428 yards with three affected in the victory over the Saskatchewan. The Damien Alford recruit rolled in a pair of score strikes among its six catches for 156 yards.
“It was a long time ago – I do not worry,” said the director general of Stampeders and head coach Dave Dickenson, according to Calgary Sun. “I know that Saskatchewan is playing good football. They have a lot of talents and weapons but also continuity.”
Adams also sang the praises of Roughriders.
“We had the best team in the League to come this week,” he said, according to Calgary Sun. “So we have to prepare hard this week. Keep going hard and showing up the day of the match in front of a big crowd.”
The star of runners Trevor Harris launched 425 yards and a touchdown during the initial meeting with stamps, Joe Robustelli totaling 11 receptions for 191 yards and a score.
Harris also behaved well in the Saskatchewan game 29-9 on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last weekend, finishing 21 of the 27 passes for 307 yards and three affected.
The defense has more than maintained its end of negotiation by forcing four reversals. The Roughriders granted a CFL-Low 183 points, just ahead of the Stampeders (192).
