The Giants Listress Jaxson Dart as Qb2, not Jameis Winston

The recruit choice of the first round Jaxson Dart is listed as the rescue quarter behind the starter of the New York Giants, Russell Wilson, on the unofficial depth board of the team 1 of the team.
Dart, selected 25th in total in Ole Miss, is listed before the veteran 10 years Jameis Winston after a promising pre-season and training camp. New York opens the regular season on Sunday on the road to Washington commanders.
The giants had the day of leave on Tuesday. Head coach Brian Daboll and Wilson should meet the media on Wednesday.
Dart, 22, succeeded 32 out of 47 for 372 yards, three affected and no interception in pre-season and rushed to a TD against the New York jets, triggering optimism around a position which has become a shipwreck in 2024.
Daboll and Managing Director Joe Schoen left Daniel Jones in November after asking for his release in response to a bench. Daboll and the Giants have encountered more problems when Tommy Devito, Drew Lock and Tim Boyle failed to produce. New York has lost 11 of his last 12 games in 2024, when he finished 3-14.
Daboll has engaged in Wilson, 36, a signatory of the free agent in his third team in three seasons, as a starter of the Giants. Wilson and Winston, 31, were signed for various roles, Daboll and Schoen were clearly specified at the start of the offseason.
