Visit New York Mets will have to generate more offense if they will beat the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday evening and avoid a three -game scan.

The dishes scored a total round in the first two games in the series and lost five of their last six games. New York has eight points in this six -game section.

The right -time tubes have been rare for New York recently. The dishes are 9 for 61 with runners in a score position in their last eight games and left 60 runners on the basis. New York was 0-in-7 with runners in a score position during the 2-0 defeat on Tuesday, which gave the food his first sequence of three consecutive defeats of the season.

“Overall, we cross it, without a doubt,” said New York manager Carlos Mendoza. “We have trouble putting guys regularly, and when we start these guys, we find it difficult to bring them. … Overall, I have the impression that we are going through at the moment.

“Regarding the history, we have too many good players in this room. Understand that at one point of the season, you will go through stretching like this. It happens. We must continue to fight. We must continue working. We must continue to stay positive. Go around the page. It might not seem well, but that’s what we have to do.

The Boston lift enclosure recorded 20 withdrawals in Tuesday’s victory after starting the Walker Buehler launcher and manager Alex Cora were ejected with a withdrawal in the third round after Buehler questioned a call from the referee of the Mike Estabrook plate. The Red Sox used seven launchers in the victory.

“They did an incredible job,” said Cora. “Obviously, we were in a difficult situation, but they found means. I played a good defense behind them, and (the receiver Carlos Narvaez) did an exceptional job.”

The right-hander Tylor Megill (3-4, 3.74 ERA) is expected to start on Wednesday for New York. Megill made an appearance in a career against Boston and granted three points over five strokes in four rounds, but did not take into account the decision during a victory of 8-3 Mets on September 4, 2024.

Megill gave four points deserved in his first 30 rounds this season, but abandoned 14 points deserved in the last 14 rounds.

“I put myself in bad situations by late,” said Megill after his last departure, in which he gave four points and four strokes in 2 2/3 rounds during a 6-2 defeat against New York Yankees on Friday. “This is the essential, just the front of the strikers.”

The left-handed Garrett Crochet (4-3, 2.00 ERA) is listed on Wednesday as the probable Boston starter. The hook made an appearance against the dishes during his career, spending 0-1 with an MPM of 2.70. Then, with the White Sox of Chicago, the hook gave a race on three strokes in 3 1/3 sleeves in a 2-0 dish victory.

“Let’s see what’s going on tomorrow,” said Cora. “We have to adjust the tempo of the mound. We had the right guy tomorrow; we just have to continue throwing. We did a good job (Monday). We did an exceptional job (Tuesday). We started Garrett, so I hope he can continue to do his thing and we can score some additional races.”
