Deputy Secretary of the Department of Internal Security, Tricia McLaughlin, criticized the title of the New York Times, which said that “Apple eliminates ice monitoring applications in the middle of Trump’s pressure campaign”.

“Our ice men and women are Doxxed, hunted down, the personal information of their families is put on the Dark web, they are faced with an increase of 1000% of attacks, a terrorist just tried to kill them a week ago. But it is not worthy of interest for the New York Times, told McLaughlin to Fox News Digital in a declaration, in addition to publish” A screen on the head.

“When Apple made the right one to eliminate these applications that will have someone killed, the NYT turns it as political pressure-a shame on journalism,” she continued.

Meanwhile, some criticized Apple’s decision to withdraw the application.

“Wait. Now, it is normal for the government to demand that a technology company removes something? If memory is up to the task, this action has been described in the most stilted terms (and not entirely without reason) as a totalitarian violation of the right to freedom of expression”, the host of the morning edition of NPR “”, Steve Inskeep, posted on X.

“Oh [Apple] You really suck for having shot down the ice cream! Who is not going with you? Put it back !! These are families who just separate from BC, unidentified losers, decide – not ok, “wrote another user.
