Kevin Costner does not think of moving away from the spotlights anytime soon. At 70, the veteran actor tells people that retirement is not part of his plan, not because he avoids it, but because his imagination continues to draw him towards new projects.
“I do not even think of retiring, because I will simply go to the next thing that captures my imagination”, shares Costner, while discussing his current collaboration with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
His creative campaign remains the greatest influence in the formation of his trip. “My imagination is what determines what I do, not a boss,” he says. “I think we are all different and that we have different things that happen for us.”
He also thinks about the luck he feels, while recognizing the individual nature of each person’s path. “I felt really lucky in my life. I would like to think that I have worked for all this, but not everyone can live with the same plan, ”he adds.
Costner has been a big name in Hollywood since the early 1980s, making its debut in Sizzle Beach, the United States and leading a career full of acclaimed films and performance. But despite the decades of experience behind him, he always looks at curiosity and enthusiasm.
Asked about future objectives, the actor admits that he does not follow a list of buckets. “I don’t have these things,” he said.
“I have this list, [but] I do not refer to this in this way. But certainly my eyes and my enthusiasm are wide open and very large. “”
For Costner, it is a question of continuing to explore what excites him and leaves a lasting impact. “I enjoyed life so much and imagine what I can do, what can I be and what makes a difference,” he explains. “Not only for me, but for others. What satisfies me?”
As he says, time is the only thing he really flows against. “I go through this idea, and you realize that it is time. It is a rush to reach them all. ”
