There is a mouse cemetery in my office cabinet – devices that I tried and thrown because they did not help with my shoulder pain. The solution was a roller shot mouse and MX Ergo from Logitech is the best I found. It bows for a more natural “handshake” handle and has an optional option for more precise movements in Photoshop and other applications. The scrolling wheel is fast but precise, as is trackball and you can switch between two devices with the coupling button. You can even program the different buttons to carry out specific things to the application using the Logitech software. It is also a practical companion for an iPad and also makes a good Mac accessory.
My only reproach is the obsolete micro-USB loading port, but the battery lasts long enough for me to love it only once every month. It is expensive at $ 100, so you may prefer the $ 70 Ergo Lift. It also offers a handful of the handshake, but without the roller ball, and has Dongle Bluetooth or USB connectivity options.
Of course, there is also Apple’s own magic trackpad, which essentially reproduces the tactile surface of the MacBook so that you can place it anywhere. If you are a fan of multi-touch gestures on your MacBook, it could be a more comfortable way to use them. – AS
