Back to school This is always the ideal time to conclude an agreement on a new laptop for the next semester, and the Chromebook Asus CX15 is available at Walmart for $ 159. It may not be the most fanciful option, but it has an important screen and a complete keyboard with a Numpad, all for less than the cost of a new manual. If you are just looking for a chromebook without frills for occasional web work and a slightly larger display, it’s a lot.
Regarding performance, the CX15 is not terribly exciting, with an Intel Celeron N4500 and 4 GB of memory. Fortunately, this should be good for taking regular notes, sending emails and edition of tests, most of this work occurring anyway in your browser. The extra-light screen of 15 inch is ideal for putting two windows next to each other while doing work, or to watch a film in the evening, even if the accuracy of colors is not the best.
The Chromebook CX15 is available in two colors, a classic and professional pure gray as well as a more fun and more user -friendly fabric. The two have the full -size keyboard, which will make the writing of long paragraphs more comfortable, and the complete Numpad for your mathematical and sciences. The touchpad is not our favorite, with an occasional clumsy, but you could do much worse for the price.
It has only 120 GB of internal storage, which is fairly common for ChromeBooks, because it is expected that you are touched strongly on the Google Cloud storage options. To this end, the Asus Chromebook CX15 includes three months of the Premium Google One AI plan, which includes 2 TB of cloud storage as well as a variety of tools improved by AI. You will also get three months of Premium Youtube, which offers you an experience without advertising while watching videos and listening to music.
