The association of Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the richest country’s head in the world with the richest person in the world, seemed a perfect match.
But the last 10 days have seen the pair go from a sweet disagreement to bitter acrimony. These are the public moments that have crashed their relationship.
Wednesday May 28
Addressing CBS News, Musk criticizes Trump’s plans for a new tax on taxes and spending – saying that the legislation provided left him “disappointed”.
Trump later admits to journalists that he is “not satisfied with certain aspects” of the bill while being “delighted” of certain aspects, such as tax reductions.
