Thailand, Cambodia discuss resumption of ceasefire

Thai and Cambodian military officials began negotiations on Wednesday, the two countries said, days after the two neighboring countries agreed to discuss the resumption of a ceasefire following 16 days of violent border clashes that killed at least 86 people. The talks come two days after a special meeting in Kuala Lumpur of Southeast Asian foreign ministers, called to try to salvage a truce brokered by ASEAN Chairman Malaysia and U.S. President Donald Trump after a previous round of clashes in July.
