Taylor Swift attended the wedding of Lena Dunham as a bridesmaid in the London intimate ceremony.
In September 2021, Taylor Swift quietly entered the role of bridesmaid for her longtime friend Lena Dunham, who married the musician Luis Felber in a small wedding held in London.
Swift wore a pleated silver dress designed by Christopher Kane. The dress had spaghetti strass straps and a matching belt. With the other bridesmaids, she wore a pearl cover created by designer Susan Alexandra, keeping the soft and elegant look for the occasion.
The ceremony took place at the Union Club de Soho with only sixty guests. It was a private event, kept away from cameras and big titles, focused entirely on the couple and their nearest circle.
Swift and Dunham became friends in 2012 after Dunham publicly congratulated the Red Album of Swift. Their link has increased over the years and the singer’s presence at marriage has shown how strong this friendship remained.
Although Swift is used to the closed counters and flashing windows, she kept a low profile throughout the ceremony, standing quietly next to the bride and offering her full support.
“Regarding the nuptial party, if we include brothers and sisters, we were nine years old,” Lena told Vogue. “You can have a much larger wedding with fewer bridesmaids, but I guess it talks how excited I was to have my close friends there.”
However, Taylor was joined by a small circle of people closest to Lena, notably actress Myha’la Herrold, Tommy Dorfman, the creative spirit Rosa Mercuriadis, the partner of Podcast Alissa Bennett and some family members.
