Tamar Braxton apparently threatens legal action against Funky Dineva
On Tuesday, December 2, Braxton took to her Instagram Story to share a document with her over 6.1 million followers. Additionally, the document stated that it was his “official statement” from the office of attorney James L. Walker Jr.
“This summer, I poured my heart into ‘Heartbreak Retrograde’… Which is why it was especially painful to see a hurtful and completely false rumor spread online this week – accusing me of having an inappropriate relationship with my male co-star. Let me be clear: this is a lie… These rumors don’t just affect me – they affect our families, our children, our loved ones, the people who never asked to be drawn into this nonsense… I’ll let my lawyers go from there,” she claimed in part in the document, and captioned the post: “Playtime is OVER…”
Braxton also shared the statement with a post on her feed. However, she eventually deleted it.

Funky Dineva doubles down on claims about Tamar Braxton and Mendeecees ‘sneaking and dealing’ with each other
Three hours later, Funky Dineva released her livestream, broadcast via YouTube. About six and a half minutes into the stream, Funky shared Braxton’s statement with his stream. After recapping his words, he redoubled his efforts and spoke directly to Braxton’s attorney.
“Mr. Walker, you don’t even want to waste your time not sending me anything on your fax because the relationship was extremely inappropriate,” Funky said, before adding that he was going to “restart this from the very beginning.”
From there, Funky went on to allege that the “only reason” Braxton released her music video featuring Mendeecees was because “people spotted them” together.
“Well tell me, Tamar, if it’s inappropriate or appropriate when we’re sitting at Ruth Chris’s and he’s rubbing between your thighs, between your dress… He kept leaning in and whispering,” Funky said.
Ultimately, Funky alleged that he saw Braxton help Mendeecees write a statement that he and Yandy Smith were no longer together. He added that he had seen Braxton and Mendeecees be “in love” on at least three occasions, and noted that he had more tea to spill and would do so if things got worse.
After his live stream, Funky even reposted an Instagram user who seemed to back up his claims that Braxton and Mendeecees were together at the Four Seasons.

As The Shade Room previously reported, things first broke down between Funky Dineva and Tamar Braxton in August. At the time, Braxton was making headlines for her apparent mouth injury, which she said could have been caused by sleepwalking, when Funky claimed she was doing a “PR stunt.” At the time, footage of them hours before his injury surfaced, and some believed Funky might have been the culprit behind his injury. In the end, Funky also expressed his hurt over Braxton’s failure to defend him against the speculation.
Ultimately, Braxton alleged that she was unaware of the chatter directed at Funky. But she apparently shut down the internet, saying she just wanted “peace.” Then, Braxton recently met with Lore’l, explaining that the night of her injury, she allegedly threw a party with her former friend, Funky, according to The Shade Room. Funky took offense at his apparent shadowing and walked out, alleging that Braxton was “sneaking around and taking care of” the Mendeecees, and that he would know the cause of his mouth injury.
Before releasing her legal statement, Braxton distracted people from Funky’s claims by reposting her visual album “Heartbreak Retrograde” via her Instagram Story. To date, neither Mendeecees nor Yandy Smith have responded to Funky Dineva’s claims.
