For the record, I strongly recommend eliminating the bass while being humid, lest we be splashed in our eyes.

Another pro tip is to ensure that the USB-C port on the back of the speaker is sealed with the rubber cap tacted before giving a bath to this thing, because it is the only entry for water that can and will ruin your speaker. I went directly from the speaker at bath time with my 3i boom, and everything remained acceptably, but I also made sure that the rubber cap at the back was locked up with diligence before soaking.

Another thing that you will notice right away is that the 3i boom is also strong, which is great and completely suitable for a Bluetooth speaker designed to be used outside. In fact, this thing is so noisy that I had to start it again while playing music in my apartment for fear of obtaining a noise complaint. One thing I would have liked to see here, because, as I said, it is an outdoor speaker that people could take camping, is the reversed load, but unfortunately, the 3i boom cannot complete your iPhone or your Android phone in a pinch. As long as I give a criticism to the 3i boom, I think the speaker looks like a bomb or something. This is by no means the coolest or prettiest speaker (certainly no bose citrus yellow), but it gets a little pass to be so waterproof and durable. Just know that if you bring this thing on a plane, you could be distant by the ASD.

If you have noticed that I am towards the end of this speaker review and that I barely said a bad word on this subject, it is because there is frankly not much to hate in the 3i boom. I am convinced that after having tested the most recent Bluetooth speaker in Soundcore, it is an incredible value in Bluetooth audio. You rarely get this level of sound quality with as many unique features as the Boom 3i, and for a price that undercuits or actually corresponds to the competition. Soundcore’s 3i boom may seem a gadget to the surface by emphasizing water resistance and buoyancy, but once you start using this speaker, you will be happy to know that it is also solid all around, sound outside similar to a brick.
