Liverpool manager Arne Slot said on the transfer situation involving Harvey Elliott in the midst of links with Newcastle United before summer.

Although Slot has rented the form of Elliott since his return from injury, he also admitted that there had been times when he had told him about his performance levels.

Slot also seems aware that Elliott has not played enough, suggesting that the Dutch tactician is aware that he is someone who may not be fully satisfied with his current role in Anfield.
Elliott has been linked as a target for Newcastle by Teamtalk in recent days, so it could well be something to watch because they could probably offer him a key role.
Magpies need a little more creativity in the midfield, and Elliott looks like someone capable of offering this, but the competition for Anfield’s places could be a little too much for him at this stage of his career.
Harvey Elliott will join the others from the exit door of Liverpool this summer?
LFC barely made changes to their team when Slot resumed last summer, but it could be that Elliott is not the only high -level departure this year.
Others like Caoimhin Kelleher, Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo and Kostas Tsimikas might want to play more than they have been, while flops like Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa seem to be obvious candidates to discharge if possible.
Meanwhile, the star player Trent Alexander-Arnold arrives towards the end of his contract, and is now very close to being able to go on a free transfer.
