Stefon Diggs sues influencer Christopher Blake Griffin for alleged defamation

Steve Diggs is fighting back against some serious claims from a social media influencer.
The NFL star filed a defamation suit on October 1, according to TMZaccusing the influencer Christopher Blake Griffith to make up a story about the New England Patriots receiver.
Griffith claims Diggs, 31, drugged and sexually assaulted him in 2023.
In the lawsuit, Diggs claims he, Griffith and others went to a Washington, D.C. club after a charity basketball game at the time, before going to Diggs’ home. Diggs then claims he went to his room to finish the night while his assistant asked Griffith to leave the house. This is when the alleged sexual assault allegedly took place.
In the summer of 2025, more than two years after the alleged incident, Griffith took to social media to put Diggs under fire for what he claims happened that evening, alleging that the receiver had “drugged and sexually assaulted” him that night and conspired to have him killed in order to “keep his gay/bisexual secrets from being revealed.”
Griffith then posted an Instagram story, claiming responsibility for the attack and tagging the shoe company Ugg and the actress. Sarah Jessica Parker in the message. (Both had just participated in a campaign for Ugg).
The influencer said he was “disgusted” that the company hired Diggs for the campaign after he filed a police report about the May 2023 incident.
He also shared what he claimed was a copy of his police report in the August 2025 post, tagging the NFL and Patriots in the post.
“You’re all going to leave Aaron Hernandez 2.0 unleashed without penalty? Griffith posted on his Instagram Story, referencing the late tight end who was convicted of first-degree murder in 2015 before committing suicide while incarcerated in 2017.

Griffith, in the police report, claimed that Diggs gave him candy “containing drugs” without his knowledge.
He then accused Diggs of putting his tongue in Griffith’s ear to “kiss him”, and that three people had asked Griffith to keep silent about the events that allegedly took place.
In a statement obtained by multiple media outlets, Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitzdenied Diggs’ claims that the events occurred.
“Mr. Griffith is eager to show the world in court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ expensive New York lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.”
He continued: “Not only will we defend ourselves against these false allegations, but our sexual assault counterclaims will be filed shortly. »
Diggs is seeking damages and attorney’s fees, but he has not said how much he is seeking.
