Spurs brew a future “superstar” which is on the right track to be the next kane

Tottenham Hotspur continued his impressive start to life under Thomas Frank with a 3-0 victory against West Ham United in London Stadium on Saturday.

Pope Matar Sarr, Lucas Bergval and Micky Van de Ven have scored the goals for the Lilywhites to claim the three points against their London rivals, bringing them to three victories of four games.

One thing that the Spurs have not had so far this season, however, is a graduate of the academy playing minutes in the Premier League because they are still looking for their next Harry Kane.

Why the Spurs need to find their next Harry Kane

Not all supporters will feel that, or as strongly as the others, but it can be a source of pride to have a player from the brilliant weekly team academy. One of their own.

Kane was the ultimate version of that. He broke out through the academy and loan systems to emerge as an incredible interpreter, leaving northern London in 2023 with a 280 -goal club record, according to Transfermarkt.

In addition to being one of their own, the top scorer of all time in England was also the King of Derby Day for Tottenham with an impressive goal record against Arsenal.

Kane did all of this, however, after scoring two goals for Leicester City, five goals for Leyton Orient, nine goals for Millwall, and no goal for Norwich City on loan before his breakthrough in first team, by transfer.

In this spirit, the Spurs could brew their next version of Kane in one of their current young talents who are struggling at the moment, Mikey Moore.

Why Mikey Moore is the next Harry Kane in the manufacture of spurs

The 18 -year -old winger was sent on loan to Glasgow Rangers during the summer transfer window, but did not have the best start for life north of the border.

In five appearances in all competitions for the Scottish giants, Moore has not yet found the bottom of the net and his only help came against Alloa Athletic, a lower league outfit in the league, by transfer.

England Youth International has failed to introduce itself to the Russell Martin team in Ibrox, especially in the Scottish Première, since its first loan moved away from the Spurs.

As you can see in the table above, Moore had trouble during his first three league outings for the Rangers, without shots on the target and without “big chances” created for his team.

The 18 -year -old talent always finds his way at the level of the first team, and these are negative experiences that will provide the difficult lessons he will have to learn to start and progress, as Kane did after fighting in his loan spells in Tottenham.

Moore, who said that analyst Ben Mattinson had a “superstar potential”, drew attention to the academy level for spurs with a return of 19 goals and 13 assists in 24 games for U19s, per transfer.

These statistics show that the young Englishman has the potential to regularly deliver goals and assist regularly, but he is starting to show this in the first team when he returns from the Rangers next summer.

The Spurs hope that Moore, who has scored a goal for the first Tottenham team, uses the 2025/26 campaign as a great learning experience to teach him to do and what not to do at the senior level as a regular starter.

Kane used his time in Millwall, Norwich, Leyton Orient and Leicester to propel him to glory in the first team, and Moore may well be on the way to follow in the footsteps of the captain of England.

At the age of 18, the winger has so much time ahead of him to grow and develop. Hopefully he can possibly play for Spurs as a left -made left -in -law in the future.
