Even though several years have passed since Meghan Markle left the United Kingdom and stopped being a full-time royal, King Charles’s feelings toward her don’t appear to have changed.
Despite repeatedly denouncing the firm’s lack of accommodation or assistance during her suicidal crisis while pregnant with Archie, as well as her interviews with Oprah and even the Harry and Meghan docuseries, King Charles’ “weak spot” is said to persist.
Over time, it only gets smoother, a source revealed to National Examiner. Furthermore, “despite everything that happened, Charles did not turn his back on Meghan.” Conversely, “the more time passes, the more he seems to feel empathy for her.”
The same source also referenced an old nickname he had for the Duchess of Sussex, “Tungsten,” and added that “he still believes she has a good heart.”
He also reportedly became rather emotional upon learning that his father Thomas Markle had suffered a medical emergency and, according to a source, “wants peace, not just with Harry but with Meghan too, and he is quietly applying pressure from above to make it happen.”
However, his wife and son do not agree because “they are stunned and say that he is much too naive” and “they are convinced that it is asking him for trouble to open the door for him”.
