Soulja Boy appears on Kandi Burruss during a recent stream
As previously reported by The Blast, Soulja Boy’s former videographer Charlie Rocket caused waves online by making shocking allegations against the “Turn My Swag On” rapper during an episode of Burruss’ podcast, “Burruss Banter.”
“I want to preface: I’m very grateful to Soulja Boy for giving me this opportunity, but I’m grateful for the good and the bad because at that particular moment in Las Vegas, I actually hadn’t eaten in three days,” Rocket said.
As it goes on, Rocket said he met Soulja Boy in his hotel room after Soulja Boy ordered a large amount of room service. “When he was done, there was so much food left. I was excited. I saw some chicken fingers and I was like, ‘Can I have those?'” “Because I’m hungry, I’m really, really hungry,” Rocket explained.

Soulja Boy threatens to sue Burruss in passionate rant
Rocket’s comments began circulating immediately, prompting a heated response from Soulja Boy, who denied the claims and took shots at him and Burruss.
“Someone tag this bitch, Kandi too,” he said in the live video. “Bitch, why are you so fat– [redacted] on your platform, you speak? I’m going to sue you and this white guy. I’m about to sue Kandi.”
Soulja’s biggest problem, however, was Rocket’s claim that he had contaminated someone else’s food.
“You’re on the f—ing internet talking about me spitting on your food? You’re a bitch, a b– na whore,” Soulja Boy said. “Who’s the one driving around with someone and not eating for three days? Kandi, you too, you little bald bitch. … Send me the fucking address. Let me stop and tell my side of the story.”

Soulja Boy Stops…and Apologizes to Burruss
In another viral livestream a few days later, Soulja Boy changed his mind and offered what appeared to be a heartfelt apology to Burruss.
“I’m sending Kandi an apology, man, you know what I’m saying?” he said in a clip common at X, formerly Twitter. “You know I overreact sometimes. I just see stuff on the internet… But lots of love to Kandi, if you could find it in your heart to accept my apology.”
“I get so angry… People lie about me and shit, but they say, ‘Man, he should have gotten mad at that dude, you shouldn’t be mad at her,'” he added.
The two music superstars even appeared to squash the beef in person, as photos and videos of them on the set of Burruss’ “Speak On It” podcast were shared online.

Other users share their thoughts on Soulja’s statements
On Instagram, more users commented on Soulja Boy’s follow-up video directed at Burruss, suggesting there was a specific reason for the change in attitude.
“He only apologized because of Kandi’s influence on ATL – he’s not smart,” someone commented.
“Kandi sent them morons from College Park,” another added.
“He apologized because people in the neighborhood don’t play with Kandi,” wrote a third. “I don’t know who he thought he was talking to [for real]”.
A fourth user joked that Burruss’ good friend, rapper TI, could have called Soulja Boy and asked him to take down his comments.
“Y’all know TIP called and said, ‘Watch this, mane. Here’s what you’re going to do. You’re going to go live and apologize quickly or we’re in serious trouble,'” the comment read.
