The Beatles reach a major musical milestone

The Beatles Anthology The album series is back on the Billboard charts, 30 years after the project’s release in 1995.
The new album, Anthology 4, debuted in the top 10 of the December 6 Top Current Album Sales chart in the United States.
The 36-track collection includes 13 previously unreleased tracks from the Beatles’ vault and also debuted at number 9 on the Official UK Top 100 Albums Chart.
New album releases boosted by a 25th anniversary reissue of the book The Beatles Anthology, and the streaming debut of The Beatles Anthology documentary series on Disney+, which debuted on November 26.
The series, which premiered in 1995 on ABC TV, was originally broadcast as an eight-part documentary and now, for the new 2025 version, it has been expanded to nine parts.
The first three volumes of Anthology Series of albums were released in 1995 and 1996, and all three topped the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales charts.
Anthology 4 is part of a busy top 10 this week, with Stray Kids’ do it at No. 1; THE Wicked: For Good, soundtrack at No. 2; and Aerosmith and Yungblud’s Ono more time at No. 3.
The Beatles have recorded 19 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, including 1966. Revolver, 1967s Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Bandand the 1969s Abbey Road.
