Simone Biles enters the cat after Riley Gaines criticized a transgender athlete
Riley Gaines jumped on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, June 6, responding to a photo of the Softball team of the Lycée du Minnesota celebrating his 2025 championship. The former swimmer called the team for having extinguished his comments and said that he had won that because his star player is a boy. People on X do not waste time dragging it, and even Simone Biles intervened, saying essentially in Riley to find someone else with whom to play.

Simone kept his foot on the gas, returning to Riley on X, saying that she was just a painful loser after losing against a transgender swimmer in the 200m freestyle at the NCAA championships. Riley Gaines increases the quarrel by raising the past abuses of Simone Biles
Riley and Simone continued to go online, but Riley went further by evoking the sexual abuse that Simone suffered with the former American gymnastics Doctor Larry Nassar. According to USA Today, Simone testified against him in 2021. Nassar was then struck by a sentence of 60 years in prison in 2017 after having attacked several young girls, according to USA Today.

Riley continued to come to Simone, responding to an USA Today article on X This gave accessories to Simone to support the Trans community. Riley argued that the Olympic gymnast did not in fact defend transgender people, but rather pursued it for defending women and girls.
